Hi everybody,


I got the confirmation e-mail from PCCW mobile (13Jan05 time 2146) la. The day to pick up the phone is on 23Jan,05. I use the PCCW mobile website to change the appointment day to 16Jan,05. Which is the first available day on the calendar on their web site. Since I bring my phone number to PCCW mobile (MNP) I don't know how many days I need to change my mobile service provider.

so fast? my friend told me Jan 16 is reserved for those invited customers from PCCW No 1 CLub and Netvigator ONE ... people registering on web will not be getting notification until 3 weeks later wor.

anyone from PCCW here to clarify?

Hi Everybody,

After I request date change to 16Jan,06 for pick up the phone. I received both sms and e-mail to confirm my date change. I think 16Jan,05 may be reserved for PCCW No 1 CLub and Netvigator ONE members. But PCCW can also allow those who cannot meet the appointment day can change what they best fit. I apply the PCCW mobile through internet on Tuesday night which is the TV advertisement first show. Then I received e-mail from PCCW to ask me to sent back last three months bills and address approval. I sent all documents to PCCW at the same night. I am using i-cable for my isp, my current mobile service provider was smartone. Yesterday night(13Jan06), I got the 13 digits approval numbers through sms and e-mail. I go the website of PCCW key in my 13 digits numbers and change my appointment day to 16Jan06. Now I am waiting for the day come.

Tonight (14Jan06), around 2100 PCCW mobile agent called me to confirm me my appointment was on coming monday (16Jan06) and remind me to bring along my credit card and my Hong Kong id card. This is very good service already. May be because I change my appointment day from original 23Jan to 16Jan, there was another PCCW mobile agent called me to remind me the day was 16Jan and informed me to bring along my credit card and Hong Kong id card. This was very very good customer service. Better than the one i using now smartone. Smartone have good receiption on the network but not in customer service. I without any contract with smartone, I called smartone customer service hotline before to ask for them to mail me any new promotion. The agent told me their company have no this knid of service. The agent told me to pick up the new promotion leavelet at any of their shops. What kind of marketing they are using? In the seond month phone bill I paid about 1.5k for roaming in US, Canada and Japan. Smartone don't know how to catch this kind of pontential spents customer. I hope PCCW was not.

my father received the PCCW No1Club invitation la - they invited him to try the service for 6 months, and bring the invitation letter to activate the service on Jan 20.

It is too early to comment on the service of PCCW. They are new to the mobile industry. Tell us again 6 months later or so. My personal opinion is : to start with a good customer service is easy, but to keep the same service standard long is hard. No exception to any existing service providers.

我今日中午1點收到sms話2月1號取機
到夜晚7點有條女打黎話可以早D取機
咁就改咗25號去取機啦~
