804SS 除左可以用 mmf, 其實仲可以用 AAC (.MP4) 做 ringtone

basically

1. Use itunes to convert your ringtone from MP3 to .M4A (convert from ringtone.MP3 to ringtone.M4A)
2. Rename the extension from .M4A to .MP4 (from ringtone.M4A to ringtone.MP4)
3. Download IMA.MP4 from
http://www.ima-mobile.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9955
4. Use Samsung PC Studio 3 to transfer IMA.mp4 and ringtone.mp4 to ur 804ss (i.e. Music folder)
5. On ur 804ss Menu -> Data Folder -> Melody & Music folder select IMA.mp4 and use left function key to Set as -> 1. Voice ringtone
6. Still selecting IMA.mp4, use right function key to Options -> 7. Rename and enter something like IMA1
7. Select ringtone.mp4, use right function key to Options -> 7. Rename and enter IMA
8. To check the results, back to standby screen. Select Menu -> Settings -> Sound settings, select Tone volume and you can now here ur AAC ringtone

But I use both bluetooth and cable still can't set it the ringtone ...

I double checked with the actual user of 804SS and the exact procedure should be (updates in blue)

On ur PC
1. Use itunes to convert your ringtone from MP3 to .M4A (convert from ringtone.MP3 to ringt one.M4A)
2. Rename the extension from .M4A to .MP4 (from ringtone.M4A to ringtone.MP4)
3. Download IMA.MP4 from

4. Use Samsung PC Studio 3 to transfer IMA.mp4 and ringtone.mp4 to ur 804ss (i.e. Music folder)


On 804SS
5. On ur 804ss, select Menu -> Settings -> 2. Sound Settings, select IMA.mp4 as Voice call ringtone
6. Back to Menu -> Data Folder -> Melody & Music, rename IMA.mp4 to IMA1.mp4
7. In the same screen, rename ringtone.mp4 to IMA.mp4
8. To check the results, select Menu -> Settings -> Sound settings. The Voice call ringtone should remain as IMA.mp4. To listen if the ringtone is correct, select Tone volume, adjust the volume and you can now here ur AAC ringtone
